Mischa’s Musings about The Billionaire’s Shrubbery:

First, the character names make me laugh every time I read them. Virginia Beach and her sister, Georgia Beach. I can’t get enough of it.

The plant puns - all over the place. If you know me, you know I love puns and double entendres!

Second, Will is a bit pushy and so high strung. The guy literally needs a vacation where he’s marooned on an island for three months without technology. On top of it, our beloved plant whisperer, Virginia Beach, is using a loophole to get into his extremely expensive entrepreneur course for free - and that’s not helping! Or is it?

Third, if you like quirky characters who have a talent, Virginia Beach is the one for you.

Honestly, I am enjoying this book and I’ve been laughing every time these two get into the same space together. It’s a fun read!

The Revelry Island Project is going well. I’ve been working on all three Maintenance Men novels at once because I want them to be very close in overlapping with their timelines. Don’t worry, I won’t be copying and pasting things word for word from one to the other because they all have different main characters and those characters will be living their own lives while helping their family and friends with their adventures.

The Bloody Life of October Daye

I’ve been wanting to read the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. I finally dove in and can’t stop reading. I am so glad the Libby App and my local library have had all the books so far. I am enamored learning about Toby’s world and can’t help but hope everything works out for her in the end.
