Reading and Watching
I’m listening to the Stephanie Plum audiobooks and … wow. Uhm… they’ve uh aged a little. However, if you grew up reading bodice rippers, it won’t be no big. I don’t understand how Stephanie hasn’t a) died b) ended up in a psych ward c) died d) died hard.
Yeah, she almost dies quite a bit. So many cars blown up. Absolutely bonkers. But, it’s a fun series in some other ways. I also think she should not have to choose between Ranger or Morelli. PICK BOTH.
I said what I said.
I got Peacock for the Olympics and got sucked into some trauma drama called Yellowstone as well. I don’t think I can keep watching it. I am still on break from watching Seals on Paramount+ because of the trauma drama. It hurts, okay?
Also enjoying my hot guys on Tracker. I am still surprised my tv did not melt with both Jensen and Justin on the screen. I’m also reading the books the show is based on and I have to admit - I like the fact that Colter has a truck and camper and isn’t driving a Winnebago. I know, I know, weird right? I just feel the character is saving money by having his own vehicle instead. I love the books for getting into his head. I don’t know how much mental-wise the character on the show is based on the book, but it’s like reading The Hunger Games series and then watching the movies and you know what’s going through Katniss’ mind when she’s dealing with all that trauma drama while trying not to die.
We need more feel good shows. Some hot and dreamy romance. Less trauma. I like K-Dramas. I finished Alchemy of Souls and while I wasn’t quite happy with the ending, I’m glad they got their happily ever after. I really liked My Demon. And, if you like a very interesting BDSM movie, check out Love and Leashes. I got more than I expected there. And it has the absolute best awkward meet-cute I’ve ever seen.
Alright, I got to get back to writing if I’m going to make my pre-order release date!
XoXo,
Mischa
